This chocolate brown 1960s cocktail dress is made of heavy silk satin with a lovely feel and sheen to it! The dress has a sleeveless bodice with high or empire waist. The soft collar is trimmed with a large, flat bow. A single large box pleat forms the center front of the A-line skirt. The dress fastens in front with a single covered button and a pair of hidden hooks and eyes at the waist—so, quite easy to get in and out of! The bodice has a copper taffeta lining, while the skirt is lined in brown muslin-type fabric. This classic mid-century cocktail dress is a versatile style that works just as well now as it did in the 1960s—perfect choice for a less formal- or work-to-evening-event. It is in excellent condition.
