This charcoal grey wool knit 1950s blouse has a cream angora stand collar and cute laced trim at the left shoulder! The tapered, three-quarter-length sleeves are a dolman style, cut all-in-one with the body of the blouse. Bust darts and vertical seaming shape the bodice. Designed to be tucked into a skirt, the blouse’s lowest button is a flat plastic one, rather than the domed, fabric-covered buttons higher up, from neck to waist. For the same reason, the blouse hem is pinked but not turned up and hemmed. This pinked hem is a bit rolled/creased, from laundering, and I was unable to press it completely flat with my steamer—but this will not be seen when the blouse is tucked in. In very good condition, the blouse has one other small issue: a tiny mend at the top of the left shoulder—nearly invisible—see close-up photo. Pair this warm and cozy knit wool jersey 1950s blouse with your favorite pencil or circle skirt, or high-waisted pant.
