Size: inner band circumference is approximately 21"
Hats in this close-to-the-head, turban or cap shape were very popular in the early part of the 1930s. Like many 1930s hats, this one is asymmetrical, tilting over the forehead at a jaunty angle. The body of the hat is made of black crepe fabric, trimmed with a band of black woven straw. The straw band forms a three-dimensional knot at the back of the hat. The hat is lined with black taffeta and the inner grosgrain band has some make-up residue on it. In very good condition, this perky little 30s black hat has no other issues, and is just darling! It should fit best on a small head size; please let us know if you have any questions about sizing.
