This early 1950s Girl Scout leader’s skirt in dark green rayon gabardine has a cute little “GS” patch on the flap that hides a tiny pocket, just below the waistband. The gently flared, 6-gore skirt fastens with a metal side zipper and a button. The medium-weight rayon gab fabric is unlined. Inside the waistband, the “gripper” type material shows some wear from normal cleaning and wear, and the skirt has one small mend on the lower right front section (see photos). It is in good condition, completely wearable, and a fun piece of mid-century Girl Scouts history.
