This pair of amazing, “F-heel” 1960s slide sandals combine black and gold leather with colorful rhinestones on the uppers, on top of fabulous black resin heels with gold plastic balls—really unique! The criss-cross design vamp has a wide-open toe box, and is lined in black leather. The lightly padded, matte gold insoles are man-made material, and have seen better days. (I would recommend attaching new insoles over the top of the current ones, in black leather or vinyl, and the sandals will last longer.) The design of the f-shape heels is not one that I’ve encountered before, and the bold combination of shiny black resin with shiny gold plastic is fun! The soles are also man-made material, with rubber heels. These 1960s mules or slide wedge sandals would be great for lounging elegantly by the pool, in your favorite vintage swimwear. They are in very good condition, with the only issue being the wear/damage to the insoles, as mentioned above. Labeled a vintage size 9, they fit more like a modern size 8.5.
