This teeny-but-lovely, polished cotton 1950s sundress with halter neckline and full skirt features red and pink sequins accenting the sweet floral print. The dainty floral is combined with a subtle linear design, similar to a spider’s web, on the creamy ivory background. The narrow halter strap is attached to a flat panel that comes to a point at the center of the bust, between the pleated cups on each side. The fitted bodice is boned at the front and back—in the front, below the bust cups, only. The very full skirt flares out below the waist seam, and is shown here with a crinoline underneath, which is not included. The sequin trim is used to embellish the front side of the dress, only. The dress is unlined and fastens with a side seam metal zipper, along with a single snap fastener on the halter strap, hidden inside the bodice. In very good condition, it has two light marks (lipstick, we think) on the bodice (see photo). The only other issue with this sweet 1950s sundress is its petite size—please check the measurements carefully, and feel free to contact us with any questions about fit.
