Comfortable, subtly sexy, and perfect to wear almost anywhere, the iconic 1970s wrap dresses designed by Diane von Furstenberg are a great addition to any wardrobe! This true vintage 70s DVF wrap dress has a deep v-neckline created by wrapping the two sides of dress around and tying them with the wide waist sash, in front or in back. The waist sash can be used to adjust the dress fit, somewhat. Other details include a pointed collar, long sleeves with turned-up cuffs, and a gently flared skirt to about mid-calf. The soft cotton and rayon blend knit has batik-style abstract print in dark teal blue and gold. The unlined knit fabric has enough give to show off your curves, but it is not a super-stretchy knit (see range of measurements). The dress is in near excellent condition, with some very minor yellowing to the label at the neckline (see close-up label photo). The dark binding at the hem is most likely not original, but was added by the previous owner, perhaps to lengthen the dress a bit. Vintage Diane Von Furstenberg wrap dresses travel well, and are versatile enough to look great from a day at work to a night out. Here is your chance to own and enjoy a very wearable, 70s designer classic!
