This hot pink rayon velveteen 1960s hat is shaped a bit like a modern bucket hat--or an antique bonnet. It has a softly ruffled, downturned front brim that narrows from the sides to the center back, and is trimmed with a knotted bow in front. The tall, gathered crown has seaming on each side and is lined with brown taffeta fabric. The soft crown is designed to sit up rather high in the head (unlike a modern bucket hat), and its inner circumference is consequently on the smaller side (see measurements). In excellent condition, this bright pink or fuchsia velvet “bonnet” hat is a youthful, very mod 1960s style!
