A different kind of inflation! This deadstock, never worn Formfit Rogers vintage padded bra is labeled a size 32A, and its style name is “Inflation”! This 1950s white cotton bra is a no-wire style that still manages to create the desired pointy, “bullet bra” shape of the era, using rows of stitching on the padded cups. The straps are adjustable and the bra fastens with a set of 2 hooks in back. The cups are padded 100% cotton and the sides and back are made of plain weave white cotton fabric as well, with no stretch. A wide band of elastic at the center back next to the hooks and a small triangle of elastic inset at the center front are the only parts of the bra that stretch. This petite-sized 1950s bra is in very good condition, unworn with its original tag still attached. It has no issues to note other than some yellowing from age and storage, most visible at the outer edge of the left cup. (I did not try to launder or bleach the bra, since it is deadstock, but the 100% cotton may respond well to cleaning.) The bra measurements were taken with the hooks at the largest position. It can therefore fit a smaller size than the maximum measurements given.
