Size: 6" in diameter, with berries dangling 2" below the wired circular frame
This open-crowned hat from the late 1950s would make an unusual vintage bridal headpiece or headband. The hat is covered with ivory velvet leaves and has triple clusters of ivory velvet berries dangling from green, wired fabric stalks. Only the center back is left plain, with a flat bow instead. The hat had ivory veiling attached to it in the past; traces of it are still visible. An ivory fabric-covered loop on each side of the circular crown will help hold the hat in place when worn. This would make a pretty bridal crown or headband, for wearing over or under your wedding veil. It would also be a cute cocktail hat. The hat is in excellent condition, with the (missing) veiling its only issue.
