Perfect for a daytime bridal outfit, this ivory or off white pillbox hat, circa 1950s or early 1960s is made of rayon jersey and shiny satin, with a pearl and rhinestone embellishment at the front. The ivory satin and jersey fabrics are pleated and draped around the round crown of the hat, with a gathered, fan-shaped section of satin peeking out above the rhinestone trim. The hat is lined with brocade fabric, and it does come with a short length of ivory veiling (see last photo), which may have been removed, or never attached; it was tucked inside the hat when we acquired it, so it is included. Perfect for a 1950s style vintage bride or perhaps for a wedding going-away outfit, this off-white pillbox hat is in very good to excellent condition, with just the faintest hint of discoloration along the top edge—very hard to see, and unlikely to be noticed when it is worn.
