This ladies’ flared leg pantsuit from the late 1960s or early 70s is made of bright aqua blue corduroy. The belted jacket is hip length, with pointed lapels and large patch pockets at the hips. Flattering princess seaming in front and back shapes the waist gently. The jacket fastens with shiny gold metal buttons, to match the gold metal belt buckle. The high waist trousers have a zipper and button in back and a clean, flat front, with darts for shaping. The legs flare slightly from knee to hem. The jacket is fully lined while the pant is unlined. Both pieces are completely washable (including the jacket lining), made of 50% cotton and 50% polyester corduroy. The corduroy fabric is medium weight and quite soft, not stiff at all to the touch. This stylish late 60s or early 70s women’s trouser suit was never worn (and still has its original paper tag inside the pant waist). It is in near excellent condition with two tiny marks on the back of the right sleeve from its long storage as its only issue. You may also wear each piece of this set separately, of course, although it looks great together!
