This late 1960s or early 70s leopard-print caftan or dressing gown by Butterfield 8 is the cat’s meow--Mrs. Roper meets animal print! The zip front robe or caftan is made of a lightweight, slinky nylon knit with a ribbed texture on the back of the fabric. The unlined fabric is just slightly sheer, most noticeably in the white sections of the print. The easy-to-wear silhouette flares gently from bust to hem, and is designed to fit loosely—see measurements for the range I think it will fit best.  The sleeves are tapered a bit at the wrist. The front nylon zip can be closed all the way up and turned down to create a rounded collar, or worn open as shown. This true vintage caftan, lounging robe, or dressing gown can also be worn belted, as shown in my first photo (metal chain belt not included, but available). It is in excellent condition, with no issues to note.
