This lipstick red beret hat from the 1950s or early 1960s is trimmed with a decorative, double-ended tulips hatpin in gold-tone metal with creamy faux pearls. Applied narrow “ribbon” strips of felt trim the right side of the hat’s crown. The shallow, curved crown of the beret is design to sit towards the back of the head, as shown, although you could also wear it tiled more forward if you prefer. The bright fur felt is a warm-toned red, with a plush surface. In very good condition, this easy-to-wear 1950s-60s hat has one small area of wear to the crown on the left side, possibly a partial moth munch, which does not go all the way through the felt and should be difficult to notice unless you look very carefully (see close-up photo). Add a fun pop of red to your favorite outfit with this versatile vintage beret!
