Size: 44” long by 10” wide
This satin stripe green silk scarf features adorable ladybugs woven into its design—too cute! Dating from around the late 1950s to early 1960s, the scarf’s lovely silk fabric is a medium weight, similar to the silk-satin dressmaking fabrics of the era. The ends of the scarf have a narrow band of fringe. It is rectangular in shape (see measurements), and is unlabeled, but the silk appears to be fine quality. In excellent condition, this vintage scarf would make a nice gift—especially since the ladybug often symbolizes good luck and abundance—who doesn’t need more of that in their life?
