This white and pink polka dot 1970s dress in slinky nylon jersey has contrasting striped trim applied at the V-neckline, cuffs and hem. In construction, materials, and overall style it may remind you of another designer famous for his print jersey dresses, but it was in fact made by one of Emilio Pucci’s many popular imitators, “Maurice”. The dress has narrow, bracelet-length sleeves, and a 70s-style fit-and-flare shape that clings gently to the bust and waist, and then widens from the hips to the skirt hem. The dress fastens in front with an invisible zipper that does not extend all the way to the top of the neckline, as shown, leaving a V-shaped opening. The lightweight nylon jersey fabric is unlined. In very good condition, the dress has one light mark on the striped neckline, and two very faint spots on the left front hip. We have included close-up photos of the neckline spot and the more visible of the 2 spots on the skirt—they are pretty hard to see, unlikely to be noticed when the dress is worn. Cute, preppy polka dots on a Pucci-style dress, without the designer price tag—it’s a win-win! This 1970s knit jersey dress will be comfy to wear, and can be dressed up or down with ease.
