This circa 1940s or early 1950s men’s alligator wallet in a billfold style is a warm brown shade, with a green moiré taffeta rayon lining. The small pocket inside closes with a tab and loop. The alligator skin is still soft and pliable, with a shiny finish. The wallet has two fabric-lined bill compartments, and a plastic lined photo slot. It is in very good to excellent condition, with just a tiny bit of wear to the edge of the center fold (see photos). The billfold was most likely designed for the American market, to fit the size of US dollars, so please check the details of the bill compartment, given in our measurements.
