Morris Moskowitz handbag 1960s tapestry purse pink gold

Size: 8.5” wide by 6” tall by 3.25” deep
Label: Morris Moskowitz (“MM”)

This tapestry fabric 1960s handbag by Morris Moskowitz in mauve, cream, tan, and gold has an usual top handle--made from a curved section of varnished wood, attached via rigid, gold chain links. The hinged clasp and 4 metal feet on the bag’s base are also bright gold metal. The structured bag is wider at its base than at the top, like a mini doctor’s bag. The envelope-style front flap has a cute, scalloped edge. This classic 1960s handbag is in near excellent condition: the bag’s cream faille lining (stamped “MM” for Morris Moskowitz”) has a few minor marks from normal use, not seen when the bag is carried.
