This plus size early 1950s navy rayon crepe dress is trimmed with ivory, navy and metallic gold plaid taffeta fabric at the collar and piping the cuffed, short sleeves. It has a faux bolero jacket effect in front, with flaps and buttons. There are diagonal pockets over the hips and small kick pleats at the front of the straight skirt. The dress closes with a metal side zipper and is unlined. Appropriate for day or cocktail wear, depending on your accessories, this versatile dress is in excellent condition; its only issue is that it is missing its original belt. Our last photo shows the dress un-clipped to the mannequin, to better show its actual size.
