With its amazing black and white op art print cotton overlaid with graffiti-style hand-painted “spatter” in several colors of paint, plus its super-cool cocoon or oversize kimono shape, this avant-garde 80s jacket is quite an eyeful! And it is reversible, too! The dropped shoulders and cropped dolman sleeves emphasize its loose fit. The shoulders and chest are the widest part of the jacket, which tapers gently down to the hip-length, asymmetrical hem. The jacket fastens in front with a single, matching fabric-covered button at hip level, and a single hook and loop at the top of the right shoulder (trimmed with a decorative 1950s rhinestone button on the black and white print side—none on the reverse). The other side of the jacket is plain black cotton, which looks especially cool with the op art print fabric cuffed up to show against the black, as shown. Each side of the jacket has one large, diagonally placed patch pocket. This unique oversize jacket is totally 80s and totally chic!
