Size: 29” long, total. Art glass beads measure .5” square.
This circa 1930s necklace in pastel shades mixes pale blue and pink faceted beads with larger, square or lozenge-shaped, frosted art glass beads in pink, blue, clear, and vibrant green. It is a longer length, at a total of 29 inches, and could be worn doubled, or as a single strand. The round, faceted beads have somewhat irregular shapes, unlike more modern faceted glass beads that are uniform in shape and size. The necklace fastens with a spring-style hook clasp. It may have been re-strung by a previous owner, but this pretty 1930s necklace does not appear to be missing any beads. It is in excellent condition. The soft pastel swirls inside the art glass beads are mouth-watering, aren’t they?
