A pair of pastel plaid 1960s pedal pushers, these deadstock vintage cropped cuties were never worn, and are still as crisp and new as they were some 60 years ago! The pastel plaid fabric, in a rainbow of colors, is a poly/cotton blend that ensures there will be no wrinkles to iron. The pedal pushers are by definition shorter than a capri pant but longer than shorts—just below knee-length on our mannequin. They feature a fitted, high waist with narrow waistband, fastened with a button and metal zipper at the side seam. The rise is quite long, with a consequently shorter inseam, so please check the measurements for details about fit—it is quite different than that of a modern-style cropped pant. Below the fitted waistband, the pedal pushers are slightly full through hip and thigh, then tapering to the hem. The lightweight fabric has a crisscrossed texture, and is unlined, although there is a single pocket in the right side seam—hooray! In excellent to mint condition, this pair of true vintage pedal pusher 1960s pants is unworn, with no flaws to note. Our last photo shows the pedal pushers unpinned from the mannequin, to give a better idea of actual size.
