This peach rayon satin 1940s bias-cut nightgown has a square neckline, with darling lace trim, embroidered in colorful stitching. Lace also trims the cap sleeves. The bodice of the nightgown is gathered under the bust to create fullness. Below, the ankle-length skirt section is a simple column of bias-cut satin. It is unlined. In very good condition, this true vintage 1940s nightgown has two tiny “picks” in the shiny satin fabric as its only issue to note.
