This high- or empire-waist 1960s mini dress in bright red chiffon features fabulous, sheer pleated bishop sleeves, as well as a pleated skirt. The high-waisted bodice has a round collar, vertical bust darts for shaping, and the aforementioned full sleeves, which are gathered into fitted cuffs. The skirt is quite short, with flat pleats all around. The acetate chiffon of dress is lined (except for the sheer sleeves) with red acetate taffeta, and it fastens in back with a nylon zipper. The red ribbon sash that came with the dress is has some water marks/stains on it, but it could easily be replaced with a new length of velvet ribbon. This issue with the ribbon is the only flaw to note. This mod 1960s minidress by “Young Edwardian” is otherwise in excellent condition.
