A micro-mini dress from around 1969 to 1970, this sleeveless cutie is made of crepe-textured polyester knit fabric, which has just a bit of give to it. The high-waisted, empire bodice is off-white and the split-front, mid-thigh-length skirt is royal purple, with “tapestry” ribbon trim tying the 2 colors together at the waist, hem and skirt front. The mostly straight skirt has a few tiny gathers at the raised waist seam. The bodice has diagonal bust darts for shaping. The mid-weight poly fabric is unlined, and the dress fastens with a plastic zipper in back. It is in excellent condition.
