This slightly boxy, boatneck-style 1950s sleeveless blouse in bright cherry red cotton is embellished with darling white eyelet embroidery on the front and back collar flaps. The straight, high neckline is held up by narrow straps, set wide on each shoulder, creating the boatneck-style neckline. Although the top does have bust darts, as well as tiny darts at the center of the hem, front and back, it is designed to be fairly loose fitting. It has approximately the same width at the bust, waist, and hem (see measurements). Our last photo shows the blouse unpinned from the mannequin, to give a better idea of its actual size. A row of plastic buttons fastens the blouse in back. It is in very good condition, with one extremely tiny pinhole and one tiny pull in the fabric—see close-up photo. This cute 1950s sleeveless top is perfect for warmer weather, made of unlined, lightweight cotton. Pair it with your favorite capri pant or summer skirt!
