Description
This deadstock 1950s cardigan sweater or jacket is made of a lightweight knit cotton in striking, bright orange-red, with a fun design of black and white latticework on its front panels. The cardigan buttons closed with white plastic pearl buttons. The smooth, plain weave knit body of the cardigan is gathered where it meets the ribbed knit sleeve cuffs and hem. The rib-knit, curved collar reminds me of a baseball jacket—very sporty! In mint, unworn condition, this 1950s cardigan sweater or lightweight jacket still has its original paper hangtag attached.
