This deadstock vintage 1940s extra wide tie in dark burgundy red, navy blue and grey has an abstract design of multi-sized ovals (or elongated bubbles) printed on twill-weave rayon. Like many 1940s and earlier ties, this particular tie is rather short, since they were often worn with double-breasted or 3-piece suits, complete with vests or waistcoats. This authentic, swing-era 1940s necktie is in very good, unworn condition, with its original paper tag still attached. It has just a tiny bit of fading towards the wider end, which is unlikely to be noticed when it is worn—it is quite hard to see in our photos.
