Size: 31” square
Label: Vera, all silk, made in Japan
This 1960s silk scarf by Vera is a large square shape with a “painterly” polka dots print in red on white—with the colors reversed in the border to white dots on red. Plenty large enough to tie around the neck or wear as a headscarf, the scarf could also be worn as a turban, head wrap, or triangle top. It has hand rolled edges. The label describes the lightweight silk fabric as “water repellant”. In very good, totally wearable condition, this mid-century vintage Vera silk scarf has a light mark in the center white ground (see close-up photo). The giant polka dots are a fun, happy design and the red and white border-print combo is great!
