These late 1950s or early 60s long black leather gloves are silk-lined. Reaching to just below the elbow, the gloves are made of soft black kid leather, lined in white knit silk. Labeled a size 6 ½, they appear to fit true-to-size (just a bit snug on my size 7 hand, as you can see in the photos). In excellent condition, the gloves were worn by their original owner, but have been well cared for and look great! The stamped label inside tells us that the gloves were made in France, of real kid leather (“chevreau veritable”) and real silk (“soie naturelle”).
