Sky blue suede zip-front jacket 70s Anne Klein XS-S

1970s Clothing

This sky blue suede 70s zip-front jacket by Anne Klein and Company was never worn, with its original hangtags still attached! The lightweight, soft blue suede is cowhide, with some natural markings and variations in texture. The hip-length, fitted jacket has seaming to shape the bust and waist, and flares just slightly from waist to the high hip/hem.  It is fully lined with blue acetate crepe, and has no shoulder padding. It has a single chest pocket, and a round neckline. In very good condition, stored unworn and folded for a long time (since the 1970s!), the jacket has some overall creases in the suede which should improve with normal wear. It also has some faint, hard-to-see fading across the top of the left shoulder and on the back of the left sleeve, and 2 small scuff marks in the suede surface, at the right bust area (see photos). This deadstock 70s Anne Klein suede jacket cost $180 originally, or just over $1000 in 2023 dollars. The sky blue suede is a lovely color—perfect for spring!

I have the matching jacket (from the same owner) in tan suede. Although it is labeled the same vintage size, is actually about 1 size smaller than this blue suede jacket. See the tan suede jacket HERE.
