This three piece 1960s ladies skirt suit is actually a vintage cocktail suit, meaning it is as fancy and evening-appropriate as a 60s cocktail dress, in sparkly blue and black lurex, acrylic knit fabric trimmed with blue rhinestone-studded buttons. The suit has a hip-length, boxy, double-breasted jacket layered over a short-sleeved blouse. The blouse is a bit shorter than the jacket with a notched hem in front and a round neckline that peeps out from underneath the V-neck jacket when they are worn together. The pencil skirt has a narrow waistband and fastens on the left side with a button at the waist and a plastic zipper. The skirt is half-lined, in back only, with black taffeta. The three-quarter-sleeve jacket is unlined and fastens with domed black plastic buttons set with dark blue rhinestones. (There is one extra button attached to the inside of the jacket.) The blouse is also unlined and has a metal zipper at the back of the neck. In excellent to mint condition, this set came to us unworn, with its original paper size tag still attached to the blouse hem. We did, however, carefully hand wash the set whole set, for freshness.
