Size: 53” long. 2.25” wide at widest point (1” wide at middle).
This unusual, skinny square-end 1950s tie is made of two coordinating fabrics, one in plain grey and the other in grey and black diagonal stripes—both fabrics feel like lightweight rayon. The striped fabric is used on the back side of the wide end of the tie, and then wrapped around to trim the edges of the front side, with just a narrow bit of it visible from the front--like a striped stripe! The narrower end of the tie is made of the all grey fabric, front and back. This stylish, square end necktie from the late 1950s is in excellent to mint condition, appearing unworn.
