What’s not to love about a late 1940s or early 1950s bombshell bra slip combination, in black cotton piqué? This strapless black slip has a built-in bullet bra, for that perfect vintage pin-up silhouette. Sweet scalloped trim with floral embroidery decorates the top of the cups, along with a wider band of the same trim at the hem. The slip is boned from the top of the bust to the waist and the cups have curved seaming to create the appropriately pointy look desired by a 1950s lady. The strapless slip fastens with a metal zipper over a row of sturdy hooks and eyes, down the center front. The sides of the bodice/bra section are panels of black elastic fabric, for a more comfortable (and more secure) fit. The skirt section of the slip is slightly flared, and gathered at each side, where it meets the waist seam. The cotton piqué fabric is semi-sheer, which shouldn’t be an issue unless you decide to wear this lovely slip as a dress instead—and who could blame you? But, you will probably need another slip, or at least tights, underneath. This 40s or 50s strapless slip is in excellent condition. It is labeled as a vintage size 38C, but please check the measurements and feel free to contact us with any sizing questions.
