This is one of my favorite 1930s hats that I have ever been lucky enough share with you! The unique shape of this 2-tone caramel brown and tan-striped straw hat includes a rounded crown with a center slit opening and a front brim created by 3 “curls” of straw, each increasing in size from left to center. The right side of the brim is uncurled, and frames the face beautifully. The natural straw has a fine, flexible feel and a tight weave, quite nice quality. A large grosgrain ribbon bow trims the center back of the crown, where it rests against the back of the head when worn. The hat’s crown has a caramel brown inner grosgrain band. In amazing, excellent condition, this 1930s straw hat is special piece showcasing impressive vintage millinery skill and design!

Brim width, measured on uncurled right side: 4” in front and 2” in back
Crown height: approx. 3” (somewhat flexible due to slit in crown)
Inner circumference: 20”
