Size: 8.5 to 9 M
Insole length heel to toe: 10”
Width across ball at sole: 3.5”
Heel height: .75” wedge heels, with .25” tall platform
Made of tan or caramel, Mexican hand-tooled leather, these deadstock, circa 1950s sandals are both cute and comfy! The lightly padded leather insoles sit on top of low platform soles (platform is .25” tall under the toes, with .75” wedge heels). The outsoles are also made of leather. The 3 straps of the uppers are all adjustable with buckles. These nearly flat, tiny wedge-heeled sandals are in very good condition. Although unworn, they have one dark scuff on the leather of one platform (outer side of left shoe—see photo), and a few scratches on the leather of the right shoe insole, where the maker’s label is stamped in gold lettering (see photo). These unusual 1950s leather sandals have no size label that I can see, but based on measurements and fit, they are approximately a modern size 8.5 to 9 medium.
