This darling, deadstock 1950s sweater in teal green, 100% Australian wool has the classic mid-century “sweater girl” shape with a fitted bust and waist. The short sleeves and waistband have ribbed trim. The V-neck opening closes with tiny plastic buttons, below the small collar.  The wool jersey knit is relatively lightweight. In excellent to mint condition, this lovely 1950s pullover sweater is unworn, with its original hangtags. It is labeled a vintage ladies’ size 40, but please check the measurements for details about fit.

Bust: 37” flat/unstretched, stretching up to 42” max.
Waist/hem: 26” flat, stretching up to 30”
Length: 19.5” when laid flat, from shoulder to hem in front
Underarm to hem/waist length: 11.5” when laid flat, but pulling up short when worn (as shown on mannequin—more like 9.5”)
Sleeve: 8” long, with cuffs 8” flat to max. 11” around
Shoulder to shoulder: 14” flat, up to 16” stretched
