This gorgeous Thai silk scarf from the 1950s is an ascot style in shades of coral, green and peachy-pink. The center back of the scarf is pleated to create the narrow section that wraps around the neck (rather like a cummerbund). At the front ends it is much wider and comes to a point on each side. The lovely, iridescent striped silk is backed with plain peach pink silk. You can tie it to show both sides, if desired. This elegant 1950s ascot scarf appears unworn, in excellent to mint condition. Ascots are very easy to wear (and to tie!) and they look great worn with or without a collared shirt or blouse.
