A 1960s ski jacket produced by the iconic skiwear company Bogner, this tomato red, twill-weave wool, zip-front jacket has the clean lines and “space age” design of the mod, mid-to-late 1960s. Vertical seams in front and back and small bust darts shape the hip-length jacket. 2 pockets with metal zippers are hidden in the front seaming. Rows of topstitching trim the small collar and snap cuffs. The 2-way, front metal zipper features the Bogner “B” logo zipper pull, first used in 1955. The lightweight but warm, woven wool fabric is lined with matching red nylon, and an optional red nylon hood is hidden inside the jacket when not needed (see photos of lining). The jacket is in very good condition, with a few small, faint marks on the lining fabric, but no other issues to note. It will probably fit best on a size XS to S, depending on your bust and hip measurements—see measurements for details.
