Description
This pair of sweet, pearl-trimmed hair combs dates from the 1960s. The silver-tone metal trim is quite lightweight—possibly aluminum. At the end of each metal “stem” is a creamy, off-white pearl. One comb has 6 pearls, and the other has 4: the comb with 4 has the 3 stems inserted into 1 pearl with a larger opening. The pearl and metal trim is riveted onto the tortoiseshell lucite comb bases. In excellent condition, this pair of cute vintage pearl hair accessories could be worn with everything from a bridal gown to a casual look—adding the perfect touch of feminine charm!
