This 1950s patio skirt in a full circle style mixes tiers of greenish-turquoise and white cotton with rows of metallic gold and white rickrack and ribbon trim. The waistband and upper three-quarters of the skirt is the turquoise cotton, with a wide band of white cotton finishing the hem. The fitted waistband fastens with a single button and metal zipper at the side. Each tier of the skirt is gathered into the one above it, adding increasing fullness to the shape from top to hem. We have the skirt shown here with a full, fluffy crinoline underneath (not included). In very good condition, this classic 1950s patio skirt has some very minor fading/discoloration around the waistband, and one small, lightly yellowed spot on the white section, near the right side hem (see close-up photos). Neither issue is likely to be noticed when this true vintage 1950s circle skirt is worn.
