This circa late 1970s extra wide white leather belt cinches the waist with skinny ends that wrap around to tie in front. The ties allow a fair amount of adjustment in size, from around 27 inches to 31 inches for best fit. The soft, flexible leather is quite nice quality and the belt is stamped with the designer’s name, Morris Moskowitz, on the back (suede) side of the leather. We purchased this belt from a lady who had been a buyer for the well-known Chicago department store Marshall Field and Company, in the 70s. It appears never worn, as was true with much of her collection. The belt is in near excellent condition, with a very faint mark on the center front of the leather, perhaps caused by it resting against something during its long storage. This should not be visible when the belt is worn/tied. A versatile vintage belt in a great neutral color, this wide waist cincher can be worn with a dress, skirt or high-waisted pant—or even over your favorite jacket, perhaps!
