Whether you’re lounging on the couch in fabulous style, or planning a (future) groovy 1970s cocktail party, this 2-piece wide-leg jumpsuit and matching cropped vest set has got you covered! Made of soft and slightly fuzzy polyester velour (the green, hot pink, and orange abstract floral print fabric), paired with a sheer, beige polyester chiffon upper bodice and sleeves, the set has the appearance of 3 pieces, but only the vest is actually separate. The hem and inner edges/neckline of the vest is trimmed with small loops or scallops of metallic gold braid. The folded collar ties in front and is unlined, as are the sheer sleeves, while the main section of the bodice is lined for modesty, along with the sleeve cuffs. The absolutely awesome, extra-wide-leg bellbottoms attach to the upper bodice via a wide waist panel that ends just below the bust. The bellbottom pant legs are pleated and very full, with a dropped, extra-long rise—giving them the appearance of a maxi skirt, when the legs are together. The waist panel and the wide legs are lined with beige acetate taffeta—the same fabric used to line the bodice. The cropped vest has a loose fit and is also lined with taffeta. The jumpsuit fastens with a metal zipper up the center back. The sleeve cuffs close with small snaps. In excellent condition, this fun 1970s jumpsuit and vest set is fancy enough for formal wear, but comfy enough for more casual occasions, too!
