The yellow Lucite lemons pin and earrings set is an example of "Forbidden Fruit" jewelry, made in Austria in the 1940's or 50's, with hand-set rhinestones. So-called because the original paper cards they were sold on said "Forbidden Fruit," these pieces are highly collectible, and really fun! The yellow Lucite fruits have bright yellow stones and green-painted metal stems and leaves.
