This dramatic black taffeta 1950s crinoline slip with bright red floral eyelet embroidery is really too pretty to be hidden! It will be perfect for wearing under the dropped-waist style dresses popular in the 1950s, since the crinoline is fitted close to the body from waist to hip seam, with a semi-full shape created by gathers from below the hips to the hem. The crinoline slip fastens with 2 shell buttons at the waistband and a metal zipper at the side seam. The unlined, crisp rayon taffeta fabric is not sheer. The crinoline has been freshly drycleaned and is in very good condition, with just a bit of iron shine to the surface of the taffeta as its only issue to note. I especially love the scalloped hem detail on this true vintage 1950s lingerie cutie!
