Description
This white and navy blue (with design of red cherries!) 1960s micro mini tennis dress is labeled Tennisknit by Hampton Court. The soft, 100 percent acrylic knit fabric has some stretch to it. It is medium weight, and unlined. Originally intended as sportswear, this minidress is quite short on my tall mannequin; it will be a bit less scandalous on a shorter person. The dress fastens in back with a nylon zipper. In very good condition, the dress is faintly yellowed from age on the white portions of the knit fabric, which is too minor to show well in my photos. I think this is unlikely to be noticed when this cutie is worn. Pair this micro-mini tennis dress with white tennis shoes for a vintage preppy/sporty look, or tights and go-go boots for a groovy 1960s vibe!
Size: approx. S to M (some stretch to knit).
- Bust: 33 inches flat, stretching up to 39 max. Best for 37 inches or smaller.
- Waist: 28 inches flat, stretching up to 30 max. Best for 29 inches or smaller.
- Hip: 38 inches flat, stretching up to 42 max. Best for 40 inches or smaller.
- Length: 30 inches from shoulder to hem in front.
- Underarm to hem: 21.5 inches.
