This Barbie-pink 1960s skirt suit is a real doll! The darling jacket has a large bow accenting its scooped neckline, plus domed pink plastic buttons and ruffle-trimmed, elbow-length sleeves. It has a slightly boxy fit with diagonal bust darts. Its curved hem stops just above the hips. The matching knee-length pencil skirt has a narrow, fitted waistband and darts for shaping the hips. A metal zipper and a single button fasten the skirt at the left side seam. The mid-weight pink acrylic fabric has the look of wool, but is softer and less scratchy! The jacket is lined with hot pink acetate taffeta. The skirt is unlined, but the backing of the acrylic fabric has a smooth texture (see close-up photo of skirt/zipper). This bright pink 1960s skirt suit is in excellent condition. It is most fitted/smallest at the skirt waist, so please check that measurement carefully.
