Description
This 1960s mini dress features a groovy mushrooms novelty print in sky blue and avocado green, with a cream background. The medium-weight, linen-textured fabric is probably a blend of acetate and cotton. The sleeveless minidress has small darts, front and back, to shape the waist slightly, but is intended for a somewhat loose fit through the bust, and hips especially. The skirt is slightly flared from the hips to hem. The high, round neckline has darts at the back of each shoulder, and the bust is also shaped by diagonal darts. The dress is fully lined in white polyester taffeta. It closes in back with a nylon zipper. This psychedelic-meets-mod mid-1960s mini dress is in excellent condition, with no issues to note. It has been freshly dry-cleaned—which I recommend for this fabric in future.
