Description

This hand-embroidered 1930s apron features butterflies and flowers—so sweet! The white cotton pinafore-style full apron is edged with pink and white crochet trim. I think it was probably made from a kit, that printed the embroidery design for you sew yourself, on the cotton fabric. Shown here on my adult mannequin, you can see that its is too small for her. I tried it on, but even at 5-foot 2-inches, it is a bit too short. I’d say it will best fit a large child or tween—or a very petite adult. The shoulder straps have pale pink topstitching, crisscrossing and tying at the waist in back. In very good and sturdy condition, this folk art floral embroidered 1930s apron has one faint mark at the front waist, and the cotton muslin fabric is probably a bit less white than originally.
