The plush, extra-shiny mink fur is a very dark shade of brown with a slightly cool undertone. The beret has some give around its head opening, with moderately stretchy elastic hidden under the grosgrain inner band. It is fully lined in black rayon satin. The 5-sided front panel of the ascot scarf is backed with the same satin, as is the narrow strap that circles the neck and hooks in back. A fur hook and 2 loops can be used to adjust its neck size by 1 inch. This beautiful 1950s mink fur hat and scarf set is in excellent condition, with no issues to note.
